Sanderson's Diary, December 2008
December 2 Well, I suppose I have put off my Christmas shopping about as long as I can and still get it done in time. Thank goodness for the Internet and express shipping. Mom’s going to be busy putting up decorations and attending get-togethers around town, so I should be able to sneak into the office and do my shopping while she’s out of the house. This year I’m going to remember to erase my browsing history! December 17 Gift cards. Gift cards are the answer. You can get them from a number of on-line shopping concerns and be pretty sure the person or feline friend will be happy.
December 24 It is Christmas Eve and we are sitting around the tree trying to guess what is in the packages. Of course, I already have a pretty good idea what is in some of mine, because of the noises they make when I try to sneak a peek at them when no one’s around to see. Sounds good in theory, but the noisy packages will give you away every time. (Note to self: Remember to wait until Mom is in the jacuzzi or something so the things that go squeak and jingle don’t go squeak and jingle!) December 26 We had snow on Christmas Day, and it is still thick on the ground. I’d go into more detail on the gift opening, but I’m a little ashamed of the way I attacked the gift paper and I’m still recovering from stuffing myself silly on the turkey. Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon. Sanderson |
