Hmmmmmmm. Valentine's Day is coming up. At least I've got my shopping done. I do love it when Mom leaves the computer on line. I got her a nice leather case for her Palm V electronic organizer. Amazon.com is getting to know me well. I also have another surprise in store for Mom if it gets here in time. It's being trucked out from Florida, so it may take a little while before it is delivered, but as it is green, I don't have to worry. I'll just keep it for her for St. Patrick's Day! Oh, here comes Mom. I've got to run. Tell you more later. You can keep a secret, can't you?

February 15

Well, Valentine's Day has come and gone and I've got to tell you that I am a little disappointed with shopping over the Internet. Mom's other gift has not arrived. It made it as far as Los Angeles. You'd think that with it having wheels and all, it could have just drove itself the rest of the way up here to get here in time. Oh well. I just snuggled up extra close with Mom last night and purred like crazy. Maybe she thought I was her big gift!

February 21

They call today Presidents Day. Looks to me like just another way to keep people from getting all the holidays they used to get in February. And everyone is having a Presidents Day sale. Some sale. Mom went into the Lazy Boy store and the raccoons weren't even live! She's thinking about getting one of those rocker recliners with the built-in heater and massager. Only problem is, they don't seem to make them in "cat-proof" fabrics. All she's got to do is leave the thing on "vibrate" and I'll stay away from it! Who want's to play with furniture that fights back?
