Sanderson's Diary, February 2007
February 1 This is supposed to be the year of the pig. I don’t understand it. Isn’t every year the year of the cat? Well, okay, maybe I do understand. Someone has found out about my waste basket fettish. I just love to knock them over and see what’s inside. February 7 So, is everyone out there in cyber space gearing up for Valentine’s Day? I’m gearing up for it by contemplating a dozen long stemmed roses. You know how I love to eat them! I just hope Mom gets me some this year. Yummy yummy in the tummy. February 14 Today is the big day. Some would say that the main event of the month would be Presidents’ Day, but they would be misguided. Nothing beats the day for hearts and flowers. Unless it is the day for giving sewing machines. Did you guess it? I did a little more Internet shopping and got Mom a new sewing machine for Valentine’s Day in appreciation for the flowers I knew she’d get me to eat. I didn’t get any response from my query for girl cats in the area who were interested in square dancing, so I spent all my spare change on Mom this year. That should ensure that the food keeps coming on time. February 20 It is supposed to snow tonight. I hope it doesn’t drive my “through the glass door” playmates away. I like to analyze the nose prints on the other side. I think the cougar might have a bit of a cold. Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon.
