February 2

Today is Groundhog Day.  I haven’t seen one yet, so I don’t know if it saw its shadow or not.  I guess we’ll just have to stick with this year’s cold weather. I wish it would rain or snow again.  I’m starting to shed, and I don’t think I should be doing it this early!

February 9

Well, again I am really pushing it to pick out a gift for Mom in time for Valentine’s Day. Let’s see, there’s that shoe place that does overnight delivery, or I could just put more money on her Amazon.com account. I’ll sleep on it!

February 14

Okay.  This one was a little hard to do, but the guys at Black’s Appliances helped me out and we got a really big flat panel hdtv delivered for Mom to go along with a satellite receiver that brings in high-def and digital signals as well as local channels.  

February 20

Did I mention that I also talked her into a smaller one for the workout room where I usually sleep during the day?  I can listen to nice relaxing digital music or something from the Animal Channel while I nap. I’m thinking I don’t have it too bad around here.  I guess I’ll have to keep Mom!
