Happy New Year everyone! Yes, I'll put up a better picture of myself right after I recover from last night. Wow, what a party. Mom and the stud man and their friends do know how to do it right. No, I'm not old enough to drink yet, but I am almost 20 ... well, months that is ... and I weigh 12.5 pounds now, so doesn't that entitle me to a little nip?

Okay, so here's me at the party. The Happy New Year tiara isn't too manly a necklace, but the hats were too big to stay on my head, and I do so detest glitter in my fur! The noisemakers were fun though. So I ask you, did anyone make a list of New Year's Resolutions this year? I thought about it, but knew I was destined set the record for broken records, particularly for that one about not clawing the furniture. So I agreed to not agree to anything, and Mom figures at least she won't be disappointed! Hey, I'll get her something nice for Valentine's Day to make up for it.

I'm just now starting to get my Christmas toys broken in good. I am getting to be pretty good with the balls. So is Mom, actually. I'm getting her trained to go grab the bucket and toss me a few each time I head for a piece of overstuffed furniture to sharpen my nails! We had 16 of my foam rubber marvels right after Christmas, but a number of them have gone missing in action. Mom has put the rest of them in this really nice brass container and has it sitting on an end table in the living room. I guess it is a compromise. I get to play when I want, and Mom doesn't have to get up until it is time to fetch the collection and start throwing again.

I am getting good at jumping for them, catching one between my front paws, and coming down into a tuck and roll. Another one of my favorite tricks is to sit on the far side of the glass coffee table from Mom. She sees me hiding there, and bounces a ball off the top of the table. I then jump really high into the air, set the ball up with one paw, and spike it back to Mom with the other one. We're thinking of going out for the Olympic Volleyball Trials the next time around!

E-commerce is great. I have become the host for domain name e-mail. Hey, Mom should be happy. At least when she left me with the computer on this last time, I didn't go out and get a lot of stuff that cost her money. This is a free e-mail service that I can offer from my site, and you get up to 3 Mb of storage. The site is in my name as host, and I was able to customize it with my own background (guess what that would be?) and font colors on the pages. So if you could use an e-mail address or know someone who can, send them to my home page so they can join in the fun!

Okay, scratch the e-commerce.  Busted again. I think maybe the browser history is what’s giving me away.  I’m going to have to do something about that.

Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon.
