June 1

June is bustin' out all over! I know it looks like I am trying to, but no, I'm not in jail, I'm just peeking out from upstairs to see what is going on in the downstairs part of the house. I thought a bit more about my website, and decided that I wasn't old enough to give it up yet, so here's another installment in my diary. And for you recipe lovers, I've even added a bit to my Cookbook, with a great recipe for Drunken Cornish Hens. Enjoy!

June 11

I got a message from my Uncle Paul this weekend via my friend Mickey. I'd say he's trying to sell her house out from under her, but they've alredy moved. You know these "senior citizens." Golf, sun, fun, and to heck with the cat. Well, Uncle Paul and Aunt Jan have moved to a rental at Sun City Lincoln Hills pending the completion of their new home there, and are looking for the purrfect family to buy their Fair Oaks residence. Hey, it's the ideal location and the ideal residence. It has already been blessed by a cat (Mickey)!

June 28

Okay, I'm slipping into my not so good a correspondent mode again. I guess it is because I am just so antsy because Mom seems to be spending more time at work, which means that she has less time to pet and play with me. And as I've mentioned before, we Maine Coons are a really user friendly sort of cat. We get kinda perturbed when we are left to our own devices. I've been getting even though. Mom brought home this rubber ball version of the world in relief from a company she is doing business with. After pretending total disinterest, I took it upstairs and hid it under the bed. I did that several weeks ago, and just tonight Mom remembered to check my favorite stash places. Darn. I'll have to get a bit more creative next time I hide something. But I'd have thought at Mom's age, she'd have stopped looking under the bed!
