March 7

Okay, so I didn't get out of the blocks too quickly this month. What can I say but that I am getting older. Fat and lazy? No, I'm not fat, I'm fluffy. But lazy fits most cats. We do love to lay about and snooze. Except, of course, when our people are trying to sleep, which is the time we are the most active pouncing and bouncing across their beds!

March 17

Today is Saint Paddy's Day. (Did you hear the brogue in my voice?) I've been trying to figure out what to wear that is green so no one will pinch me, but then I decided that as long as I am planning a quiet day at the homestead, it probably doesn't matter. Besides, I've got a considerable layer of fur to protect me. Just in case, however, I got into Mom's jewelery case and got out a sterling silver chain and shamrock with an emerald at the center. That should take care of unexpected pinchers. The only pinchers I really like are lobster claws. Yumm.

March 24

March has been a strange month. I don't know whether to shed or grow more hair. Yesterday it was almost 80 degrees out. This afternoon it looks like it is going to rain and if my hearing proves correct, it may have just started to. I'll be right back. I need to go take a peek out the dining room window. Yes, it is raining. But at least raindrops don't keep falling on my head. There is a lot to be said for being an indoor cat.

Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon.
