Sanderson's Diary, March 2009
March 3 Today Mom decided to lay out the crazy quilt squares in the middle of the greatroom floor to decide what to put where. This is a major milestone in what I refer to as the Battle of the Quilt. Mom started it before we moved up here five years ago, and the individual squares are finally all done. I do hope to see the finished product within my lifetime, so anyone want to get out the cattle prod and wave it at Mom? I think she just needs a little incentive to keep working on it. March 17 It’s Saint Patrick’s Day. Somehow I expected all the deer to be wearing green bows around their necks, but I was disappointed. One of them did look a little green, though. Maybe she ate something that disagreed with her. I still don’t understand why deer eat what they eat. If all I ate was veggies, I’d probably be a little green myself! March 26 Mom’s cousins Arley and Avonne from Alberta, Canada, have come to visit. Mom hasn’t seen them in a really long time, and they had a great visit. I even let them pet me! Which, as you know, I don’t do with just anyone. But they passed the cat test with flying colors. (Does anyone know where that expression comes from? I sure don’t). Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon. Sanderson |
