Sanderson's Diary, November 2000
November 1 Don't bother me . . . I'm drinking! Well, I might as well stick my head in the toilet. Mom's got her new computer (yes, I did some Christmas shopping early this year. I didn't want the car thing to be repeated). So I'm sort of being ignored. I do like the new computer though. It takes up a lot less space, so there's a lot more room for me on the computer desk. Since I'm a big cat, it works out good. November 6 Mom is beginning to make me really nervous. She keeps putting me in the car and taking me places. I'm never sure whether we are going to the Vet or to my cousins' place. I'm not sure which one I prefer! I wonder what is going on. Surely it doesn't having anything to do with Election Day? Oh no, I just got an idea. They're going to go on vacation again. Well, at least if I stay with my cousins I will have other furries to curl up with at night. A guy could do worse! November 19 Yes, I was right to be nervous. Mom went on vacation to the Oregon Coast and back through the northern half of California. They took pictures, but since I was staying at my cousins' house I didn't get a chance to snatch them as Mom sent them home. I expect she will put them up herself in the next week or so. Hey, she shouldn't have to work on Thanksgiving and the day after it, so maybe she'll do it then. Check her site, Nicky’s Niche on the Net, and see. They told me that there was this neat bookstore in Yreka that had its own cat. I don't know if they got a picture of it though. While I had fun with my cousins, I'm glad to be back in my own house with my Mom. It's true what they say . . . There's No Place Like Home! Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon. Sanderson |
