Sanderson's Diary, October 1998
October 2 I do love the ostentatiousness of roses! Mom brought these home from work today. Studly sent them to her at the office all the way from San Diego. Don't they look great? I just love them, and the one I ate was delicious! (Now who's being ostentatious, right?????) Hey, I'm the baby . . . gotta love me!! October 10 I've been thinking about my career again lately. It's definitely got to have something to do with electricity. Maybe electrical conservation. Because lately I have been going around the house unplugging things. Of course, I just unplug the coffee maker because it makes that obnoxious noise when it starts to brew the coffee! And then there are the lamps. If they're not turned on, they shouldn't be plugged in, right? And you know the ones that are on when I say it's time to go to bed? Well, I've found that if I unplug them, it sure gets the attention of the folks who are trying to read or are otherwise needing a little light. And who knows, maybe someday I will be known as The Paws That Refreshes! October 22 Mom thinks Randy might have a drinking problem. Twice in the past week she has come home to find him passed out in the water dish! Of course, once it was the downstairs dish and once it was the upstairs dish. I keep telling her that he is getting more thirsty as he gets older. At least Mom is good natured about it. She just wraps him up in a towel and squeezes out the excess moisture and then sets him on the kitchen counter to dry. I do love my pets. They give me such pleasure, warts and all!! Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon. Sanderson |
