Sanderson's Diary, October 2000
October 1 It's is still pretty hot, but I think that fall is coming. It has cooled off enough that I enjoy laying about on my comforter again. As a fashion conscious cat, I do love the way I look on blue. I suppose it makes sense that it hasn't really cooled down yet, because the 2000 Summer Olympic Games won't end until tonight. They were a bit of a disappointment to me. There wasn't a single event for cats. I did have fun during the volley ball though. I got Mom to set up a few foam balls for me and had fun spiking them across the coffee table to get into the spirit of things! October 9 This is an interesting month. Last time I was on the computer it was sunny. Today it is raining. It's not really cold out, but the atmospheric pressure is such that I felt like a nice bowl of Chili. My tummy is still a little gorged from my Friday night pig-out on the pot roast Aunt Barb sent over, so I asked for something hearty but without the beef. Mom remembered a recipe another of the rels gave her way before I was born, and it sure hit the spot. If you're in the mood for a taste bud tickling treat, you might want to try my Aunt Sally Ann's Vegetarian Chili. I like it, and I'm persnickety Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon. Sanderson |
