Sanderson's Diary, October 2008
October 5 My chronic bronchitis is starting to act up again. And it isn’t even wet out yet. I’m trying to make the cough sound like I’m trying to get rid of a hairball, but Mom kind of gets the idea when nothing comes out onto the carpet. Yesh, it sounds pretty gross, like I’m trying to cough up my tail. But I am pleased to say that it is still attached, so I must not have. If I don’t have another attack for a week or so, maybe Mom won’t make me go to the vet. October 14 Well, that didn’t work out so good. My cough got worse over the week, so here I was, trying to sleep like the little angel I am, and Mom scoops me up and stuffs me in my carrier. I don’t care if it is certified for airline travel and loaded with every feature known to man, I’m a big cat and it is a little piece of luggage! Well, we’re home now, and I’m trying to get my site updated before Mom wants the computer back. Thank goodness Doctor Larry just gave me a shot instead of a bottle full of pills that Mom would have tried to get one of down my neck twice a day for ten days. A one-day sore butt beats a sore throat for two weeks! October 30 Oh no, here comes Mom with something to stick down my throat. Oh good, it’s only my heartworm tablet. It is supposed to taste like beef. But if it is, I must be a vegetarian. And if things aren’t crazy enough around here, tomorrow night is Halloween and Mom is packing a suitcase. I wonder what the morrow will bring? Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon. Sanderson |
