September 1

We have a full week before Labor Day.  That gives me plenty of time to think about what Mom might put on the barbie. Because the Labor Day weekend is traditionally the last big cook-out of the year.  Except at out house. Mom decided last year to leave the barie out all winter, and we had some really great slow roasted pork back in January. Now that we have the pergola over the patio, it is almost like having another really large room outside. I don’t get to go out there, but there’s always a window open that I can smell through. I understand that it’s going to be cheeseburgers this year.  Ooh, but those are going to smell really good!

Last night was the full moon.  I howled!
