Cheese Ball

1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 teaspoon butter or margarine
1 8-ounce package cream cheese
2 cups shredded Cheddar
1 4-ounce package crumbled blue cheese
1 tablespoon chopped pimiento
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Combine green pepper, onion, and butter in a small bowl. Cover, and microwave on High for 20-45 seconds until vegetables are tender-crisp. Stir once during cooking. Place cream cheese in a large bowl. Microwave on Medium (50 percent power) for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until softened. Stir in vegetables and remaining ingredients except the chopped nuts. Shape into a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill 2-3 hours. Unwrap and roll in chopped nuts. Serve with assorted crackers. Serves 10-12 people.
