Sanderson's Diary, June 2009
June 1 We are having thunder storms this week. Other cats might get scared and hide under the bed, but I like to sit in the window and watch the lightening strike. A couple of the ones last night sounded like they were pretty close. Oh, all right, some of the time I sit on Mom’s lap to be safe. She thinks I am trying to keep her from getting scared, so it works out just fine! June 5 The full moon will be on June 7 this month. One might wonder why a cat would care about the full moon, but Mom is playing this Internet game where she has to make changes to her fish realms to try to get hybrids during the full moon. It makes for a lot of grumbling if they don’t turn out right, but so far between Aunt Barb and Mom we’ve been getting lots of hybrids. I really don’t get it. This month’s hybrid will only breed during this month, and come July they have to do it all over again. Hmmm, come to think of it, its a lot like chasing mice . . . June 14 Happy Flag Day, America! June 21 Happy Fathers’ Day to all you Dads out there. Mom took care of that little problem for me a long time ago, but she still gets me little presents for Fathers’ Day. Do you suppose she feels guilty for letting the Vet steal the family jewels? Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon. Sanderson |
