Sanderson's Diary, November 1999
November 1 This is a little scary. Last night was Halloween, the night before was time to set the clocks back an hour, and it is beginning to feel like fall. But do I look perturbed? No way! At the moment, I'm curled up in Mom's lap while she does my typing for me (remember the tail episode last month, well, I can milk a lot of mileage out of that one!) Oh, and has anyone ever heard of a seam ripper? Trying to swallow one certainly will get your parent's attention! November 9 Mom's been at a seminar and she brought me home a new pet last night. It's a Hush Puppy, from the "velvet collection" no less! All I know is it is great. It has this sad look on it's face and big floppy ears that are just made for latching onto. And because it is a beanie, it makes the most delightful noises when I fling it up in the air or streak through the house with it between my teeth. I hope if Mom decides to get me more pets in the future, she gets me another Hush Puppy. It's a lot more user friendly than those silly Chihuahuas (see February 1999) that won't drop the chilupas! November 26 I have to say that Thanksgiving was great as usual. Mom took her killer dip to the party at the Rels in Roseville, and I got to stay home and sleep undisturbed by the little kiddies. But because she loves me so much, Mom brought me back a kitty bag chocked full of turkey and other delicacies only a cat would appreciate. Ah, the life of the pampered pet! Check back now and then. I'll keep you posted on the latest developments! Hope to see you soon. Sanderson |
