Polynesian Appetizers

This one is microwavable, so it's a quick fix.

1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 can (8.25 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained. Reserve 1/3 cup of the juice.
8 ounces frozen fully cooked brown-and-serve sausages

In a one-quart casserole, blend the brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger, garlic powder, water, soy sauce, and pineapple juice. Cut each sausage into thirds. Stir the sausage into the casserole with pineapple chunks. Microwave on High for 3-7 minutes until sauce is thickened, stirring periodically.

This recipe serves two, so you might want to double it.
